It seems wherever Buddhists have established their monasteries in large numbers, the places are among the most beautiful ones. Kalimpong is no different. The hills look at the town as if thinking how to make it more beautiful and admiring human ingenuity also in beautifying the place. Being amidst the mist transforms the place to a purer and more serene era where you could listen to every word that nature wants to convey. You can visit the markets bustling with activities yet they have the quaint charm of the old world.
