Organized between July and September at different venues in Kerala, boat festivals are among the most iconic symbols of the state. Occurs at Alleppey, Nehru Trophy Boat Race is one of the most sought-after races in Kerala, and you can see the competitive spirit of not only the participant but also of the people cheering their favourite team. Usually, the event occurs on the second Saturday of August, and it’s not only the race that attracts the crowd, but the ceremonial procession of boats on the waters is also a spectacle that you would love to see. Your Alleppey tour is incomplete without attending this important event.
