Kerala, the land of pristine beaches and azure waters

You sit on the beach and look at sea; the waves bring you stories from different parts of the world. In Kerala tour package, you have plenty of beaches that are still in their pristine form and you can enjoy your moments of contemplation with no one to disturb you. The coconut trees sway behind you to share your joy of being in tranquility and you would just be in love with the beaches in Kerala.

Kovalam is the first name that comes to mind if you think of beaches in Kerala. The three adjacent beaches of Lighthouse, Hawah and Samudra will introduce you to the joy of being close to sea and you would just let go of all your inhibitions and jump in the waters. Hawah Beach is the one you should visit during moonlit nights; the experience would enthrall you. The beach was thronged by Europeans earlier and has the distinction of being the first topless beach in India. Though topless bathing is not allowed anymore, the distinction continues. Ashoka Beach is also there at Kovalam. Varkala Beach at Thiruvananthapuram is another beautiful place that your must explore on your Kerala tour. It is believed that a dip in the sea at this beach would wash all your sins away and that’s the reason it is also called Papanasham Beach.

Bekal Beach in Kasargod district is another Kerala beauty that you must not miss. The fort at the beach provides among the best views of the Arabian Sea and water sports facilities are also there at Bekal. Kappad Beach is another place that is not only beautiful but it will take you to visit history, too. It was at this beach that Vasco da Gama first landed in Ad 1498 and heralded the advent of colonial powers. Mahatma Gandhi Beach or Kollam Beach in Kollam, too, is a must visit on your Kerala tour. There are several other beautiful beaches in Kerala that you should include in your itinerary including Alappuzha Beach, Marari Beach, Chavakkad Beach and five beaches of Kannur.

Among all the riparian states in India, Kerala is the one state the beaches of which have still maintained their purity. Your joy of being on a beach will not be complete without visiting Kerala. Take SOTC as your companion and go on a Kerala Tourism to explore the beautiful beaches of the state.
