Yerrata Mangrove

The Mangrove Canopy Walk is looked after by the forest officials of Baratang. This Baratang Island is a 100 km drive from Port Blair. The walkway is a 240m narrow bridge that is made up of non-timber forest produce. The best part about this walkway is that it was constructed in a way that no tree or even a bark of tree was pruned during the entire construction. You can find many boards with instructions about the unique features of the mangroves here.

Ross Island Mangrove Walkways
Visitors need to sign-up before entering this island as it is a naval base. The island comprises of several brick mangrove walkways that will give you a delightful experience about the mangroves on this island. You cannot visit the walkways here during the night as the entry remains closed during this time.
