Nepal, the gateway to the Himalayas

Vast tract of mountainous terrain with a culture steeped in history are the things that come to mind when someone mentions Nepal. It is from Pokhra that most of the trekkers make their way into the Himalayas. But even if adventure is not there in your mind, Pokhra would mesmerize you with its stunning views. The moment you land in Pokhra, you would feel that it is nature’s chosen abode and there is a pleasant feeling in the air. Lake Phewa is one of the prime areas to visit in Pokhra and you would find a number of restaurants and other attractions alongside the lake. If wildlife is something that attracts you, Chitwan National Park is the place you must include in your itinerary. The park is home to animals of various kinds including Bengal Tiger, rhinos and deer. A lucky few can also see crocodiles and freshwater dolphins in the river in the park.
