Jharkhand Travel Guidelines

- RANCHI: The Ranchi district administration and authorities at the Birsa Munda International Airport have decided to intensify screening of travellers entering Jharkhand from other parts of the country. The authorities to start mandatory testing of every passenger from all parts of the country.
- Health Screening:
- 7 days Home quarantine
- All passengers are required to register on Government of Jharkhand website www.jharkhandtravel.nic.in preferably before departure.
- Passengers who have a return journey within 72Hours from the arrival into the state of Jharkhand.
- Airline Personnel
- Passengers passing through the state during interstate movement.
- Government of India officials on official duty
- Passengers who undertake daily interstate travel for purpose of mining/industrial/agriculture/health care related activities.
- Passenger obligation
- Thermal screening shall be conducted for all passengers
- All passengers coming to the state of Jharkhand need to mandatorily undergo COVID Test (Free of Cost) at Testing facility available at the Airport on arrival
- The following shall be exempted from on arrival testing
- Those in possession of a RT-PCR negative report conducted with 72 Hours from an ICMR accredited lab.
- Those in possession of final vaccination certificate and have completed atleast 15 days from the receipt of the 2nd dose
- If you are travelling on a connecting flight and not leaving the airport in transit station then please refer to the detailed guidelines of the respective final destination arrival state
