- Quarantine:
- Domestic Passengers:
- Passengers originating their journey from any city in Maharashtra State to any city in Karnataka state shall be mandatorily required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative certificate of not older than 72Hours from an ICMR accredited lab or Final Vaccination Certificate (two doses complete). RT-PCR timeline starts from the time of sample collection.
- Travelers coming into Karnataka from Maharashtra and Kerala have to mandatorily carry RT-PCR negative report not older than 72 hours irrespective of the vaccination status. Guests not carrying the same will be denied boarding at the orginating airport.
- Arrivals from Kerala - 7 Days institutional Quarantine irrespective RTPCR/Vaccinated
- It is mandatory for passengers arriving from ANY state to carry a RT-PCR/TRUENAT negative report from ICMR approved lab not earlier than 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. Passengers arriving without negative RT-PCR report will be subject to RT-PCR test (free of cost) & fill up self-declaration form.
- Travellers from other states are allowed to travel in Karnataka
- No quarantine if asymptomatic passengers on arrival. However, they shall selfmonitor their health for 14 days from the date of their arrival for any symptoms of COVID-19 like fever, cough, cold, throat pain, difficulty in breathing etc.
- Having symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 they shall immediately self-isolate immediately and seek medical consultation or call Apthamitra helpline 14410.
- Guidelines for International returnees
- Before Planning for Travel:
- All travellers shall submit self-declaration form on the online portal https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration at least 72 hours before the scheduled date of travel.
- They should also give an undertaking on the portal or otherwise to Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India, through concerned airlines before they are allowed to undertake the journey that they would abide by the decision of the appropriate government authority to undergo facility quarantine or home quarantine or selfmonitoring of their health for 14 days, or as warranted.
- All international passengers arriving in Karnataka will have to undergo mandatory 14 days of home quarantine.
- However, travellers may seek exemption from home quarantine by submitting a negative RT-PCR test report. This test should have been conducted within 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey. The test report should be uploaded on the online portal (para 1.1) for consideration. Each passenger shall also submit a declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and will be liable for criminal prosecution, if found otherwise. The test report could also be produced upon arrival the point of entry airport in Karnataka.
- International passengers arriving without an RT-PCR negative certificate and wishing to seek exemption from home quarantine may also avail the facility available at the airports to undergo RT-PCR testing (where such provisions exist)
- All such passengers opting for exemption from home quarantine as in para (1.3.1) & (1.3.2) shall undertake self-monitoring of their health and will be exempted from home quarantine. However, if they develop any COVID-19 like symptoms, shall immediately seek medical consultation.
- International passengers arriving without RT-PCR negative certificate and not opting for RT PCR test at airport (if facility is available) /arriving at an airport where testing facility is not available will have to undergo mandatory 14 days of home quarantine.
- Only for compelling reasons/ cases of human distress such as pregnancy, death in family, serious illness and parent(s) with children of the age of 10 years or below and not having a negative RT-PCR report shall be permitted to self-monitor their health for 14 days from date of arrival in India. However, if they develop any COVID- 19 like symptoms, shall immediately seek medical consultation.
- Before Boarding
- Do's and Don'ts about COVID-19 quarantine, testing, etc. shall be provided along with ticket to the travellers by the travel agencies concerned.
- All passengers are advised todownload Arogya Setu app, Quarantine watch app and Apthamitra App on their mobile devices. (https://covid19.karnataka.gov.in/new-page/softwares/en)
- At the time of boarding the flight/ ship, only asymptomatic travellers shall be allowed to board after thermal screening.
- Suitable safetv measures such as environmental sanitation and disinfection shall be ensured at the airports/seaports.
- During boarding and at the airports/ seaports, all possible measures for physical distancing, provision of hand sanitizers, etc. shall beensured.
- Passenger obligation:
- Negative RT-PCR certificate not older than 72 hours or vaccination certificate of at least one dose of COVID 19 vaccine shall be compulsory produced by the passengers travelling to Karnataka from Maharashtra.
- Exemption Permitted for negative RT-PCR certificate are as follows:
- 1. Vaccination certificate of having received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
- 2. Constitutional functionaries and health care professionals.
- 3. Children below 2 years.
- 4. In dire emergency situation (death in the family, medical treatment etc.) the passenger's swab will be collected on arrival in Karnataka with necessary details like phone number, address etc., duly verifying from his ID. On receipt of the RT-PCR test report, further action will be taken as per the state protocol.
- Operating Status:
- Hotels are operating. With 50 % occupancy
- Sightseeings are Open - except Hassan, Belur, Sarvana Belagola
- Transfers are open
- Monument / Temple - Weekend Friday, Saturday & Sunday Monumnets are closed until next two weeks ( no specific date given )
- Local Market Open till 8pm. ( retricted on Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 2 PM )
