- Health Screening:
- It is mandatory for passengers arriving in the state of Punjab from other states/UT to carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours from an ICMR approved laboratory or be in possession of vaccination certificate two doses complete RT-PCR starts from the swab collection time. Not applicable to infants and children below the age of 10 years All passenger must register on COVA Punjab App before commencing their journey. communicated to Covid Control Room helpline number 1800-345-3818 for necessary arrangements to be made. Fully vaccinated passengers i.e., those who have received both does of the COVID-19 Vaccine and have completed 15 days from the receipt of the 2nd dose shall be exempted from the requirement of pre departure RT-PCR / TRUENAT / CB-NAAT / Rapid Antigen tests on production of valid vaccination certificate.

- International Passengers:
- All travellers should submit self-declaration form on the online portal (www.newdelhiairport.in) atleast 72 hours before the scheduled travel. They should also give an undertaking on the portal that they would undergo mandatory quarantine for 14 days i.e. 7 days paid institutional quarantine at their own cost, followed by 7 days of isolation at home with self-monitoring of health.
- Travellers can apply directly online for home quarantine under which only for compelling reasons/cases of human distress such as pregnancy, death in family, serious illness and parent(s) with children of the age of 10 years or below, home quarantine may be permitted for 14 days. If they wish to seek such exemption, they shall apply to the online portal (www.newdelhiairport.in) at least 72 hours before boarding. International traveler can submit the COVID-19 test report on portal and it is compulsory to report district administration about his/her arrival in the district. The decision taken by the government as communicated on the online portal will be final.
- It is mandatory for passengers arriving in the state of Punjab from other states/UT to carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours from an ICMR approved laboratory or be in possession of vaccination certificate (at least one dose) over 2 weeks old. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
- Each passenger shall also submit a declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and will be liable for criminal prosecution, if found otherwise. The test report could also be produced upon arrival at the point of entry airport in India.
- Post thermal screening, the passengers who have been exempted from institutional quarantine (decision as indicated on the online portal in advance) will show the same to the respective State Counters on their cell phones/other mode before being allowed home quarantine for 14 days.
- Passenger obligation
- All passenger must register on COVA Punjab App before commencing their Journey
- Passengers are expected to certify the status of their health through the Aarogya Setu app or a Self Declaration Form
- Boarding pass shall be considered as e-pass for movement to & from airport during curfew period (Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays)
