Chandi Devi Temple, which is located on the Neel Parvat, is among the five pilgrimages in Haridwar. The Mansa Devi Temple was created as a shrine to Goddess Mansa, who was the companion of King Vasuki. It is believed that the temple grants people’s wishes and thus witnesses a lot of footfall. Best time to visit Haridwar

The best time for a Haridwar trip is during the months of February, March and from August to October. Even though the summer months from April to July get quite hot in the day, the nights remain pleasant. Throughout the year, there are a number of celebrations that take place in Haridwar like Ramanavami, Karthika Poornima, Buddha Poornima, Diwali and Kanwar Mela. Booking a Haridwar package in the month of July is not advisable as during this month, Savan is celebrated and the city gets quite crowded. The major roads are also blocked, so moving around the city can become a little hectic.
