Taking its name from the Bhadrakali Temple within its premises, Bhadra Fort is one of the most majestic places to visit in Ahmedabad. The delicate carvings belie the fort’s strong fortifications that have withstood the travails of time mostly unscathed. Believed to have been blessed by Goddess Lakshmi with eternal wealth and affluence, there are stories of hidden treasures seemingly lost within the darkest depths of the fort. The Bhadrakali Temple, clock tower and lush gardens are other things of note within the fort.
