Park Güell is a connected system of multiple public parks that sit atop Carmel Hill in the Gràcia district and one of the key places to visit in Barcelona. It was also designed by Antoni Gaudi and is seen by many as a true statement of his personal aesthetic, which was largely influenced by organic shapes. Within the garden, there are a lot of structures and views to see – notable ones include the multicoloured salamander made in mosaic, the serpentine bench which is made with tiles and the unique bird nests built into the terrace walls.
