A part of Delhi’s Mughal legacy, the Purana Quila is a triumph of the era’s architectural beauty. The sprawling fort is spread over an area of 1.5 sq. km. on the banks of Yamuna river. It has many myths and legends attached to it that add to its allure. One of the most famous ones says that this is the site of Mahabharata’s Indraprastha city. Remarkably well-preserved, the fort has withstood the trials of time quite well. You can now enjoy boating in the fort’s moat. Catch the light and sound show in the evening. It is one of the most interesting things to do in Delhi.
