1. Enquire in advance if you are going to take the ferry from Alleppey to reach Kollam. It’s an 8-hour journey and the ferry timings often get changed. Therefore, plan your travel accordingly. 

2. Take Canoe ride to reach from Kollam to Munroe Island as that is the most beautiful and scenic route to Munroe. 

Dont's

1. Don’t purchase any local goods and food from any unscrupulous shopkeepers. 

2. Do not break any rules at places of religious significance even if you are visiting as a tourist.

3. Don’t forget to carry a mosquito repellent or umbrella if you are travelling during monsoons.
