It is bridge with religious significance, that draws a lot of foot traffic. A mighty iron bridge is suspended over the Ganges River and connects two villages – Tapovan and Jonk. It is believed that Lord Lakshman crossed the river at the same place. The bridge attracts devotees and tourists as it is just 5 kms from the world-renowned, Rishikesh. The other places around the bridge are Terah Manzil temple, Lakshman temple, and Ram Jhula, which is another iconic bridge.
