How to Reach Dharamshala

Known to be one of the prettiest places to visit on your Himachal holiday, Dharamshala is the hamlet that should be on your places to visit for a holiday. If you have planned a holiday, then it is imperative to know how to reach Dharamshala. You can reach Dharamshala by air, road and train. The nearest airport is Gaggal, which is about 13kms from Dharamshala. You can also book a taxi from Chandigarh, which is about 275kms away.  You also have the option of taking take an overnight bus from Delhi, which takes about 13 hours to reach.

There are even multiple train options to make your Himachal holiday more comfortable. If bus journeys make you sick, choose the train. The nearest train terminus is Pathankot, which is about 85kms away and there are numerous trains that go to Jammu Kashmir and stop at Pathankot.
