You can catch a direct flight to Naples from any of India’s major cities. Once you land at Naples, you can reach Amalfi Coast by road or rail. The train journey to Sorrento take one hour, while the bus takes longer depending on the traffic. You can also get a ferry from Naples to one of the towns.
Once you reach Naples, you can catch a direct bus service to Sorrento from Naples airport. Buses follow an hourly frequency between 9:00 am and 7:30 pm every day. If you’ve hired a car follow the A3 Autostrada until Vietri Sul Mare. Then take the SS163 for Amalfi for a scenic drive.
You can catch a direct train to Circumvesuviana in Sorrento from Napoli Centrale. It is around an hour’s journey. Once in Sorrento you can catch a local bus to take you into any town in Amalfi Coast. This is the faster way to reach Sorrento as you bypass all the road traffic.
