Weather Conditions in Assam
Assam is endowed with the Tropical Monsoon Rainforest Climate which means it experiences heavy rainfall and high humidity. The monsoon downpours help release the heat of the summer and contributes to more fog in the winter. However, due to rising water levels, houses and livestock often get washed away. Bridges and roads get damaged because of the floods.
