Dalhousie sightseeing can be quite a pleasant lesson in history and architecture. This little hill-station is a treasure trove of significant structures. St. John’s Church at Gandhi Chowk is an Anglican Church built in 1863. Its mid-nineteenth CE British colonial architecture and stain glass painting of Jesus bear heavy Victorian influences. Another notable marvel is Rang mahal in Surara Mohalla. Raja Umed Singh built it in the 18th CE by combining British and Mughal styles.
