Kenya from India While Kenya can be accessed through all forms of transport, taking a flight is the easiest and most logical for you. Most national and international airlines fly from India to Kenya, so you can take your pick. Kenya has multiple airports, the most important ones being Jomo Kenyatta International Airport outside of Nairobi and Moi International Airport in Mombasa. Kenya Airlines even has a direct flight from Mumbai to Nairobi. From the airports, a pre-paid taxi can take you to your on-ground destination. To make it to one of the wildlife reserves, you can choose to take the road or fly down. If you prefer the latter, you’ll have to take a domestic flight from Wilson Airport. Your safari package will come with all of these arrangements taken care of.
Kenya by Road and Rail But there are other ways on how to reach Kenya if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous or if you’re visiting from a nearby country, as part of a larger African tour. There are regular buses from Kampala, Arusha and Dar-es-Salaam, or regular trains from Tanzania. The country has a good highway system, so driving is also an option. Simply hire a car and enjoy some spectacular sights along the way. Uganda and Tanzania are the most popular destinations to drive down from.
