If you are in Johor and happen to have children along with you, then one of the things to do in Malaysia would be to visit the San Rio Hello Kitty town. The Japanese cat has been a favourite for decades now but this amusement park with the Hello Kitty theme really does take the cake! Or cookie if you will, because there’s also a Cookie Studio here where you can bake Hello Kitty shaped biscuits. This is indeed a bit like Disneyland but with San Rio characters walking around everywhere, offering to take photos with you. Not too far from here is the amazing and colourful Legoland that’s perfect not just for kids but adults too. The 76-acre park is a tribute to Lego with an impossible to imagine collection of Legos everywhere. Even the rides are patterned like Lego bricks while at the entrance itself, the Big Shop is the gift store where you can buy Lego kits for the kids (or for yourself!)
Malaysia offers a wide range of activities for all age groups and what’s amazing is that once you’ve ticked something off the list, chances are you might want to do it again! Some of the other things to do in Malaysia would be snorkelling, scuba diving, water sports and visiting the many archaeological wonders here. The rainforests are gorgeous while there are many manmade wonders as well in all parts of the country. Take your time and explore Malaysia in every visit. You’ll find each layer as fascinating and beautiful as the last.
