For young people, one of the places to visit in Milan is Naviglio. During the day, the canal has boutiques and artists’ workshops while during the evening, it comes alive with concerts, performances and processions. In April, the canal fills up with flowers for Festa di Fiori and in June, the Festival of Saint Christopher sees barges along the canals being decorated.
