Every summer, there is a flower show in the Botanical Garden and people come here to see the elaborate and exquisite arrangements. The flower show exhibits around 10000 pots during the show. Flower Rangoli, bonsai and Japanese flower arrangements make the flower show very special.
Ooty is renowned for not just its natural beauty but also the tea that is grown here. During the tea festival which is held in January every year by the tourism department, visitors can try out different brews and variants of their favourite beverage.
