Weather Conditions in Pattaya
Pattaya is a popular tourist destination with lots of people coming there for a dream vacation. However, a lot of people wonder when the best time to visit Pattaya would be. There are actually three main tourist seasons in Pattaya.
Here’s a look at what would be the best time to go to Pattaya.
Peak Season
November and December are considered the peak season months and would be considered the best time to travel to Pattaya. However, while these months are wonderful with regard to climate, there’s the crowd to contend with. Streets are often full of tourists who have come to spend their Christmas and New Year amid the sunny beaches and maybe a wild party or two.
Hotel rates are high at this time and it’s a good idea to book in advance if you want to spend your holidays in a tropical climate.
High Season
Early November is often considered to be the best time to visit Pattaya. The weather is beautiful and consistent, and the year-end travellers are yet to arrive. It’s not too hot and there’s hardly any rain. Pattaya in this weather is pretty much like paradise. Also, there are some excellent festivals that are celebrated at this time which make it a great time to visit.
While there are still tourists, they’re still manageable and you can have an enjoyable time.
Low Season
Although the months after Songkran aren’t the best time to visit Pattaya when the weather is hot and humid and it does rain quite a bit, people do visit at this time as well because hotel accommodation is cheap.
However, every summer, at least from June to October, Pattaya is known to flood and this means that visitors will be stuck in their hotel rooms and have nothing to do but watch the rains or the floods outside. There are fewer people in the town, be it tourists or employees and it could actually be relaxing if that’s the way you prefer it.
