The Parsi New Year is celebrated with a great deal of excitement and it is one of the Azerbaijan events that everyone looks forward to with a lot of enthusiasm.

Every year, 9th May is celebrated as Victory Day, to commemorate Soviet Republic’s victory over Germany during World War II.

May 28th is celebrated as Republic Day, the day when the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan was formed in 1918.

There are other delightful festivals such as the Apricot Festival in Goranboy or the Dolma Festival in Khachmaz or the Watermelon Festival in Sabirabad. Also, the Apple Festival and the Carpet Festival in Guba are some of the Azerbaijan events that people enjoy and celebrate because of their love for life.
