Winter season is synonymous to the festive season in Kovalam. If you want to explore the culture in its full-fledged form, then winter is the best time to visit Kovalam. Apart from the local festivals, beach carnivals and Christmas celebrations are the biggest highlights. Winters are mild and the temperature goes down to about 18 to 20 degree Celsius. After December and January, the climate starts getting a little warm but is bearable till the month of March.
